Research Interests
Heliophysics: The awesome physics of our own Star. I work on stuff in the Solar convection zone in particular
Solar dynamo theory: The way in which the Sun creates (or rather amplifies) its magnetic field and creates sunspots
Space weather: The way in which events in the Sun's atmosphere influence the Earth
Helioseismology: The study of the characteristics of plasma inside the Sun using seismic waves
